Lars is a prolific speaker, philanthropist and author, his book is Unboss and its thesis is as straightforward as it is radical: the purpose of business is to be useful, and if the business really is useful and well run, it will end up making lots of money.
Speaker Biography
One of Scandinavia’s most successful and best-known entrepreneurs and business leaders, Lars became world-renowned for his transformation of Oticon by designing and implementing the so-called Spaghetti Organisation, which has been featured as one of the first knowledge-based, almost paperless organisations in the world.
Lars has built about one new company each year since 1998 and he has also turned around companies and made them world leaders within their fields: Grundfos (Chair), Unimerco (Chair), LEGO (mentor for the CEO), Radiometer (COO and CFO) and Jacob Jensen Design (Chair).
Lars is Chairman-Elect of the World Scout Foundation and a member of the World Scout Committee. Since 2012 he has been Professor and Master of Leadership and Strategy at the DeTao Masters Academy in China.
