More recently having moved into the board room, Alison has been party to the transformation of the world’s third largest retailer Tesco and its strategy through the Covid-19 crisis. Prior to her time at Countrywide, Alison spent over twenty years in healthcare and financial services with Bupa and was previously the Chair of 'Opportunity Now’ which seeks to accelerate change for women in the workplace and was a non executive director for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office between 2005 one 2010. In 2011 she was awarded the CMG (Companion to St Michael and St George) in the Queens Birthday Honours list for services to the foreign office.
